The correct product and IP rating must be selected for the intended location, and installation must comply with applicable electrical requirements. Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room temperature.
