Panel calefactor infrarrojo de techo (1830 x 630 mm) 1400 W £458.00

PRODUCT DETAILS

Alta potencia. Bajo impacto.

Mejor calor, menor huella

Control inteligente a tu alcance

UNDERSTANDING INFRARED

How does infrared
heating work?

Infrared heating works differently from conventional convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat directly to people and surfaces within the room.

These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and consistent heating environment.

With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.

01 Radiate

Infrared energy travels from the heater.

02 Absorb

People and surfaces absorb the radiant warmth.

03 Warm

Surfaces help release warmth back into the room.

Efficient Heating

Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than relying solely on warming and circulating the air.

No Forced Air

With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.

Radiant Comfort

Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly, creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.

Individual Room Control

Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can be controlled according to how and when they are used.

Responsive Warmth

Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on forced-air circulation.

Low Maintenance

With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater, ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.

Silent Operation

No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.

Warms Surfaces

By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

01 How do I calculate what wattage I need?

The heating requirement depends on factors including room dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our Wattage Calculator to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.

02 Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?

Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected for the intended location, and installation must comply with applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

03 How much does infrared heating cost to run?

Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room temperature.

04 Do I need an electrician to install my heater?

This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket. Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

05 Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?

Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments, but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children, pets and the surrounding space.

06 Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?

Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However, damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation, moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
