During colder months, staff supplemented this with energy guzzling desk blow heaters and oil-filled electric radiators, each consuming 2-3 kW. Realising the high electricity usage, they switched to infrared portable heaters, which consume as little as 0.35 kW up to 1.1 kW. These heaters saved the client over 60% compared to their previous heaters.
