Infrared Heating Supplies was created to make infrared heating easier to understand, specify and use in real environments. By specialising in infrared technology, we can focus on the factors that matter when designing a heating solution — including room size, heat demand, positioning, controls and intended use.
We support applications ranging from homes and apartments to offices, retail spaces, community buildings, heritage properties and commercial premises. Our customers include homeowners, landlords, installers, architects and organisations looking for an alternative approach to conventional heating.
Our aim is straightforward: provide suitable products, useful technical guidance and clear information so customers can make informed decisions about how their space is heated.
OUR STORY
Born from an interest in better technology.
Infrared Heating Supplies was founded in 2016 by four directors with backgrounds in green technology and sustainability, with a shared interest in more practical approaches to electric heating.
The beginning
The business was established in Bolton in 2016 after identifying growing demand for heating systems offering greater flexibility in how individual spaces could be heated and controlled.
Developing our expertise
As the business grew, we continued developing our understanding of infrared heating across different building types, applications and installation requirements.
Where we are today
Today we supply infrared heating solutions for domestic, commercial and specialist projects, while continuing to develop our product range, technical resources and customer support.
OUR MISSION
Make heating smarter to specify.
Our mission is to help customers understand where infrared heating makes sense and how to specify it correctly. Infrared systems work differently from conventional convection heating, using radiant heat to warm people, objects and surfaces within a space.
That difference creates opportunities for targeted heating, individual room control and flexible electric heating design — but good results still depend on selecting the appropriate output, positioning and controls for the building.
We therefore combine our product range with practical guidance, heating calculations and educational resources designed to help customers make better-informed choices.

OUR ROLE
More than simply supplying heaters.
Infrared heating differs from traditional convective systems, so performance depends on more than choosing a heater from a catalogue. Building characteristics, heat demand, room use, mounting position and control strategy all influence the final system.
Our role is to help customers navigate those decisions. We provide product information, heating guidance and tools to support system selection across residential, commercial, heritage and specialist applications.
We also continue to develop our Radi8 product range with our manufacturing partners, bringing together product development, practical application and the requirements of the markets we serve.
