Carbon Crystal Infrared Technology
Behind the minimalist exterior are carbon crystal heating elements incorporated within a fire-rated insulated core, designed to provide consistent heating across the panel surface.
Radiant reflective foil and a thermal barrier are incorporated at the rear of the panel to reduce backward heat transfer and direct the radiant output towards the room.
Each panel is tested for heating output, electrical safety and long-term durability.
Minimalist White Aluminium-Framed Design
The slim aluminium frame and minimalist white finish allow this higher-output heater to integrate neatly into contemporary residential and commercial interiors.
Its clean appearance provides an understated alternative to conventional heating equipment while retaining the practical flexibility of the RADI8 framed panel range.
Wall-Mounted or Freestanding Installation
The 900W smart panel is designed for wall-mounted installation, keeping the heating system away from valuable floor space.
With compatible accessories, it can also be configured as a freestanding infrared heater, providing additional positioning flexibility where a permanent wall-mounted installation is not preferred.
Silent, Fan-Free Radiant Heating
Far infrared technology radiates warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces without requiring fan-driven airflow.
With no fan required to distribute its heat, the panel provides silent, light-free operation, making it suitable for homes, workspaces and commercial environments where quiet heating is important.
Is 900W the Right Output for Your Room?
The correct infrared heating output should be determined by the characteristics of the room rather than relying on a fixed square-metre coverage figure.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, insulation, glazing, external walls and building construction can all influence the wattage required.

01
Domestic applications
Comfortable, discreet heating solutions designed around
the way you use your home.
Infrared heating works differently from conventional
convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming
and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat
directly to people and surfaces within the room.
These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release
warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and
consistent heating environment.
With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate
silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.
A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort,
individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.
Efficient Heating
Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than
relying solely on warming and circulating the air.
No Forced Air
With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous
forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.
Radiant Comfort
Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly,
creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.
Individual Room Control
Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can
be controlled according to how and when they are used.
Responsive Warmth
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once
the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on
forced-air circulation.
Low Maintenance
With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater,
ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
Silent Operation
No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making
infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.
Warms Surfaces
By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can
help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about
choosing, installing and using infrared heating.
01
How do I calculate what wattage I need?
The heating requirement depends on factors including room
dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our
Wattage Calculator
to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.
02
Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom
installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected
for the intended location, and installation must comply with
applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation
should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
03
How much does infrared heating cost to run?
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity
tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW
heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at
full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the
heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room
temperature.
04
Do I need an electrician to install my heater?
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable
plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket.
Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical
connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be
completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
05
Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments,
but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should
be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its
instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children,
pets and the surrounding space.
06
Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can
help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce
conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However,
damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation,
moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be
considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
