Infrared Heating Panel (1000×600) | Rectangular Glass | Series White | 580w £324.00
PRODUCT DETAILS

580W White Glass Infrared Panel Heater

The RADI8 580W White Glass Infrared Panel Heater combines far infrared heating with a refined high-gloss white glass finish, creating a contemporary wall-mounted heater that integrates particularly well with bright, neutral and minimalist interiors.

With a 580W heating output, the panel radiates warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on a fan to distribute heated air. Its silent, light-free operation makes it well suited to living spaces, bedrooms, home offices, hotels and commercial interiors where both comfort and appearance matter.

The smooth white glass surface provides a more design-led alternative to a conventional radiator while maintaining a clean, understated appearance. Wall mounting also keeps valuable floor space clear, making the heater easy to incorporate into modern renovations and new interior schemes.

This standard model does not include a built-in thermostat. For thermostatic, scheduling and app-based control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately. The heater is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.

Installation & Maintenance
This compact white infrared panel heater includes pre-installed brackets for easy wall mounting. As there are no moving parts, there is no maintenance required for our panel heaters. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth when switched off

This 580w panel comes with a 13 Amp 3 pin plug, however we do recommend to hardwire it to your mains via a thermostat and fused spur

Safety
All our infrared heaters feature overheat protection, limiting the surface temperature from 75°C to 95°C, and all heating panels comply with safety standards (CE, UKCA, TüV, GS)

The toughened glass means if broken, the glass crumbles into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards like annealed (non-tempered) glass. These chunks are less likely to cause injury. Tempered or toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass.

Add Smart Control with the Netmostat

This 580W white glass panel does not have a thermostat built into the heater. For thermostatic and smart control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately.

The Netmostat combines a wall-mounted thermostat with app-based control and 7-day scheduling, allowing you to switch the heater on or off, select the required temperature and schedule heating around how the room is used.

To use the Netmostat, the infrared panel must be appropriately hardwired into the external thermostat and electrical supply. We recommend this work is completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable electrical regulations.

Add smart temperature control. Pair the 580W white glass panel with the RADI8 Netmostat for wall-mounted thermostat control, app management and 7-day heating schedules.

UNDERSTANDING INFRARED

How does infrared
heating work?

Infrared heating works differently from conventional convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat directly to people and surfaces within the room.

These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and consistent heating environment.

With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.

01 Radiate

Infrared energy travels from the heater.

02 Absorb

People and surfaces absorb the radiant warmth.

03 Warm

Surfaces help release warmth back into the room.

THE BENEFITS

Why choose infrared heating?

A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort, individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.

Efficient Heating

Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than relying solely on warming and circulating the air.

No Forced Air

With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.

Radiant Comfort

Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly, creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.

Individual Room Control

Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can be controlled according to how and when they are used.

Responsive Warmth

Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on forced-air circulation.

Low Maintenance

With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater, ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.

Silent Operation

No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.

Warms Surfaces

By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently asked
questions.

Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about choosing, installing and using infrared heating.

01 How do I calculate what wattage I need?

The heating requirement depends on factors including room dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our Wattage Calculator to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.

02 Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?

Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected for the intended location, and installation must comply with applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

03 How much does infrared heating cost to run?

Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room temperature.

04 Do I need an electrician to install my heater?

This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket. Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

05 Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?

Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments, but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children, pets and the surrounding space.

06 Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?

Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However, damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation, moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
