The RADI8 700W Black Glass Infrared Panel Heater combines high-output far infrared heating with a premium gloss-black glass finish, creating a distinctive wall-mounted heating solution for larger residential and commercial interiors.
With a 700W heating output, this model provides greater heating capacity than the smaller black glass panels in the range while retaining the same clean, contemporary appearance. It is particularly suited to larger living spaces, offices, studios, hotel interiors and design-led commercial environments.
Far infrared technology radiates warmth towards people, walls and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on a fan to circulate heated air. With no fan required for heat distribution, the heater operates silently and without visible light.
This standard 700W model does not include a built-in thermostat. For thermostatic, scheduling and app-based control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately. The heater is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.
Discover the features that make our glass infrared panels a discreet and practical heating solution for modern spaces.
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the room without relying on forced-air circulation.
A slim, contemporary profile designed to integrate neatly into modern interiors.
Designed for straightforward installation with mounting options suited to the heater and application.
Free up valuable floor space with heating designed around your room rather than traditional radiators.
Infrared technology delivers radiant warmth without relying on fans or forced-air circulation.
Heat individual rooms or areas independently, giving you greater control over where heating is used.
This 700W black glass panel does not have a thermostat built into the heater. For thermostatic and smart control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately.
The Netmostat combines a wall-mounted thermostat with app-based control and 7-day scheduling, allowing you to switch the heater on or off, select the required temperature and schedule heating around how the room is used.
To use the Netmostat, the infrared panel must be hardwired to the external thermostat and the mains electrical supply. We recommend this work is completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical regulations and safety requirements.

Infrared heating works differently from conventional convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat directly to people and surfaces within the room.
These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and consistent heating environment.
With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.
Infrared energy travels from the heater.
People and surfaces absorb the radiant warmth.
Surfaces help release warmth back into the room.
A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort, individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.
Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than relying solely on warming and circulating the air.
With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.
Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly, creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.
Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can be controlled according to how and when they are used.
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on forced-air circulation.
With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater, ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.
By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

Use the Wattage Calculator →Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about choosing, installing and using infrared heating.
The heating requirement depends on factors including room dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our Wattage Calculator to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected for the intended location, and installation must comply with applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room temperature.
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket. Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments, but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children, pets and the surrounding space.
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However, damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation, moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
