The RADI8 580W Frameless Infrared Panel provides silent, wall-mounted far infrared heating in a clean borderless design. Measuring 1000 × 600mm, its slim aluminium construction creates a minimalist finish for bedrooms, living spaces, home offices and commercial interiors where a conventional radiator may be visually intrusive.
With a 580W heating output, the panel radiates warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on a fan to circulate heated air. There are no fans or moving parts required for heat distribution, providing quiet, light-free operation.
The frameless design allows the heater to sit discreetly against the wall, making it particularly suited to modern residential interiors, offices, studios, treatment rooms and customer-facing commercial spaces.
This standard 580W model does not include a built-in thermostat. For thermostatic, scheduling and app-based control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately. The heater is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.

Wall-Mounted Installation Only
This 580W frameless infrared panel is designed specifically for wall-mounted installation.
It is not designed for ceiling mounting or freestanding use. The heater should be securely fixed to a suitable wall in accordance with the supplied mounting instructions and required safety clearances.
Optional Smart Thermostat Control
This is the standard non-thermostat version of the 580W frameless panel. This gives you the flexibility to choose the external heating control that best suits the installation rather than having the thermostat incorporated into the heater itself.
When using the Netmostat, the panel must be appropriately wired into the external thermostat and electrical supply. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable electrical regulations.
Is 580W the Right Output for Your Room?
We don't recommend choosing an infrared panel using a fixed square-metre coverage figure because the heating requirement can vary significantly between buildings.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, insulation, glazing, external walls and building construction can all influence the wattage required.

This 580W frameless panel does not have a thermostat built into the heater. For thermostatic and smart heating control, it can be paired with the
RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat,

The Netmostat provides wall-mounted temperature control, app-based management and 7-day heating schedules, allowing you to manage the panel according to the temperature and heating times required.
To use the Netmostat, the infrared panel must be appropriately hardwired into the external thermostat and electrical supply. We recommend this work is completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable electrical regulations.

The heating requirement depends on factors including room

Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom
installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected
for the intended location, and installation must comply with
applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation
should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

How much does infrared heating cost to run?
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity
tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW
heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at
full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the
heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room
temperature.

Do I need an electrician to install my heater?
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable
plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket.
Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical
connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be
completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments,
but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should
be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its
instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children,
pets and the surrounding space.

Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can
help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce
conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However,
damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation,
moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be
considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
