Infrared Heating Panel (1200 x 600) | Frameless Series | 700w£240.00
PRODUCT DETAILS
700W Frameless Infrared Heating Panel for Larger Spaces
The RADI8 700W Frameless Infrared Panel is the highest-output model in the frameless range, designed for larger residential and commercial interiors where more heating capacity is required without introducing a bulky conventional radiator.
Its clean, borderless aluminium surface creates a minimalist wall-mounted finish, making the heater particularly well suited to open-plan living spaces, larger bedrooms, offices, studios and contemporary commercial interiors.
With a 700W far infrared heating output, the panel radiates warmth towards people, walls and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on a fan to circulate heated air. With no fan or moving parts required for heat distribution, operation is silent and light-free.
This standard 700W model does not include a built-in thermostat. For thermostatic, scheduling and app-based control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately. The panel is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.
Highest-Output Frameless Panel in the Range
At 700W, this model provides the highest heating output within the RADI8 frameless panel range, making it the natural option where the calculated room requirement exceeds the output available from the smaller frameless models.
This makes the 700W version particularly relevant for larger rooms and more open interior layouts while retaining the same clean, understated design associated with the frameless range.
Minimalist Frameless Aluminium Design
The borderless aluminium front gives the heater a crisp, contemporary appearance without the visual bulk of a conventional radiator.
Its simple design allows the panel to integrate naturally into modern residential and commercial interiors, particularly where clean wall lines and uncluttered finishes are important.
700W Far Infrared Heating
Rather than using a fan to continually move heated air around the room, the panel uses far infrared technology to radiate warmth towards people, walls and surrounding surfaces.
This provides a different method of heating from conventional fan-based systems while allowing the panel to operate silently and without visible light.
Carbon Crystal Heating Construction
Inside the panel, carbon crystal heating layers are combined with fire-rated insulation and radiant foil backing.
This internal construction is designed to support consistent heating across the panel while directing the heating output into the room.
Designed for Larger Domestic & Commercial Interiors
The combination of higher 700W output and minimalist wall-mounted construction makes this model particularly suitable for spaces such as open-plan living areas, larger bedrooms, offices, studios and commercial interiors.
For larger projects, multiple panels can also be specified according to the total calculated heating requirement and the layout of the space.
Wall-Mounted Installation Only
This 700W frameless infrared panel is designed specifically for wall-mounted installation only.
It is not compatible with ceiling installation or plug-in use. The panel should be securely installed in accordance with the supplied mounting and electrical instructions.
Optional Netmostat Smart Control
This is the standard non-thermostat version of the 700W frameless heater. For temperature control, scheduling and smart functionality, it can be paired with the
RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat.
The Netmostat provides a wall-mounted thermostat alongside app-based control, allowing you to select the required temperature and create heating schedules using its 7-day timer.
To use the Netmostat, the panel must be hardwired to the external thermostat and the mains electrical supply. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to comply with applicable electrical regulations and safety requirements.
Is 700W the Right Output for Your Room?
We don't recommend selecting an infrared panel using a fixed square-metre coverage figure because the heating requirement varies according to the characteristics of the building and room.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, insulation, glazing, external walls and construction can all affect the wattage required.
Use our
Infrared Heating Wattage Calculator
to calculate the approximate heating requirement for your space and determine whether this 700W panel is the appropriate choice.
10-Year RADI8 Warranty
The RADI8 700W Frameless Infrared Panel is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty, providing long-term reassurance for your infrared heating installation.

WHERE INFRARED WORKS
Heating designed for
real spaces.
From everyday living spaces to demanding commercial environments,
infrared heating provides a flexible heating solution across a wide
range of applications.
01
Domestic applications
Comfortable, discreet heating solutions designed around
the way you use your home.
Infrared heating works differently from conventional
convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming
and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat
directly to people and surfaces within the room.
These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release
warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and
consistent heating environment.
With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate
silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.
A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort,
individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.
Efficient Heating
Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than
relying solely on warming and circulating the air.
No Forced Air
With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous
forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.
Radiant Comfort
Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly,
creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.
Individual Room Control
Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can
be controlled according to how and when they are used.
Responsive Warmth
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once
the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on
forced-air circulation.
Low Maintenance
With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater,
ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
Silent Operation
No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making
infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.
Warms Surfaces
By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can
help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about
choosing, installing and using infrared heating.
01
How do I calculate what wattage I need?
The heating requirement depends on factors including room
dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our
Wattage Calculator
to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.
02
Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom
installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected
for the intended location, and installation must comply with
applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation
should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
03
How much does infrared heating cost to run?
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity
tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW
heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at
full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the
heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room
temperature.
04
Do I need an electrician to install my heater?
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable
plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket.
Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical
connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be
completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
05
Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments,
but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should
be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its
instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children,
pets and the surrounding space.
06
Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can
help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce
conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However,
damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation,
moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be
considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
