Infrared Heating Panel (700 x 600) | Frameless Series | 450w£192.00
PRODUCT DETAILS
450W Frameless Infrared Panel for Modern Interiors
The RADI8 450W Frameless Infrared Panel combines far infrared heating with a clean, borderless aluminium design, providing a discreet wall-mounted heating solution for smaller and medium-sized interiors.
With a 450W heating output, this model sits between the compact 350W and higher-output frameless panels in the RADI8 range, making it particularly relevant where the calculated heating requirement calls for a balanced mid-range output.
Far infrared technology radiates warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on a fan to circulate heated air. Its frameless construction and low-profile aluminium surface allow the heater to integrate neatly into bedrooms, studios, lounges and discreet commercial interiors.
This model is designed strictly for wall mounting and is not suitable for ceiling installation or portable use. It does not include a built-in thermostat, but can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat for thermostatic, scheduling and app-based control. The panel is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.
450W Mid-Range Far Infrared Heating
With a 450W output, this model provides a useful middle option within the RADI8 frameless infrared panel range.
It offers greater heating output than the compact 350W frameless model while remaining below the higher-output 580W and 700W options, allowing the panel wattage to be selected according to the calculated requirement of the room.
Minimalist Frameless Aluminium Design
The low-profile aluminium surface has no prominent outer frame, giving the heater a clean, minimalist appearance designed to sit discreetly within contemporary interiors.
This makes the 450W model particularly suited to spaces where the visual impact of the heating system is important, including modern bedrooms, studios, lounges and professional interiors.
Carbon Crystal Infrared Technology
The panel uses carbon crystal infrared heating technology within its internal construction to provide heating across the panel surface.
A radiant foil barrier is incorporated behind the heating structure to reduce backward heat transfer and direct the radiant output towards the room.
Silent, Fan-Free Heating
The heater does not rely on a fan or moving components to distribute warmth, providing silent, light-free radiant heating.
This makes it particularly useful for bedrooms, studios and other interiors where quiet, unobtrusive operation is preferred.
Designed for Smaller & Medium-Sized Spaces
The 450W frameless panel is particularly suited to bedrooms, studios, lounges and discreet commercial installations where its output matches the calculated heating requirement.
It can also be considered as part of a multi-panel installation where the total room heating requirement is distributed across several appropriately positioned infrared panels.
Wall Mounting Only
This model is designed strictly for wall mounting.
It is not suitable for ceiling installation or portable applications. These installation restrictions should be considered when planning the heater position within the room.
Optional Netmostat Smart Control
The 450W frameless panel does not include a built-in thermostat. For thermostatic and smart heating control, it can be paired with the
RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat.
The Netmostat combines a wall-mounted thermostat with app-based control, allowing you to switch the panel on or off, select the required temperature and create programmable heating schedules.
To use the Netmostat, the panel must be hardwired to the external thermostat and the mains electrical supply. We recommend this work is completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical regulations and safety requirements.
Is 450W the Right Output for Your Room?
The correct infrared heating output should be determined by the characteristics of the room rather than using a fixed square-metre coverage figure.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, insulation, glazing, external walls and building construction can all influence the wattage required.

WHERE INFRARED WORKS
Heating designed for
real spaces.
From everyday living spaces to demanding commercial environments,
infrared heating provides a flexible heating solution across a wide
range of applications.
01
Domestic applications
Comfortable, discreet heating solutions designed around
the way you use your home.
Infrared heating works differently from conventional
convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming
and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat
directly to people and surfaces within the room.
These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release
warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and
consistent heating environment.
With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate
silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.
A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort,
individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.
Efficient Heating
Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than
relying solely on warming and circulating the air.
No Forced Air
With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous
forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.
Radiant Comfort
Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly,
creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.
Individual Room Control
Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can
be controlled according to how and when they are used.
Responsive Warmth
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once
the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on
forced-air circulation.
Low Maintenance
With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater,
ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
Silent Operation
No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making
infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.
Warms Surfaces
By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can
help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about
choosing, installing and using infrared heating.
01
How do I calculate what wattage I need?
The heating requirement depends on factors including room
dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our
Wattage Calculator
to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.
02
Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom
installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected
for the intended location, and installation must comply with
applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation
should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
03
How much does infrared heating cost to run?
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity
tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW
heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at
full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the
heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room
temperature.
04
Do I need an electrician to install my heater?
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable
plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket.
Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical
connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be
completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
05
Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments,
but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should
be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its
instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children,
pets and the surrounding space.
06
Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can
help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce
conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However,
damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation,
moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be
considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
