580W Mirror Infrared Heater with LED Light & Built-In Thermostat

The RADI8 580W Mirror Infrared Heater combines three functions in one wall-mounted design: far infrared heating, a full tempered mirror and integrated 6000K LED lighting. Measuring 1000 × 600mm, it provides a practical heating and mirror solution for bathrooms, dressing areas, bedrooms, hallways and other contemporary interiors.

Behind the mirrored surface, the 580W infrared heating element provides silent radiant warmth without relying on fans or moving parts. Integrated 6000K LED lighting adds bright cool-white illumination around the mirror, reducing the need for a separate mirror light.

Unlike the standard 580W mirror model, this version has a thermostat built directly into the heater and is supplied with a remote control. Temperature, operating times and other heating functions can therefore be managed without installing a separate external thermostat.

The IP54-rated tempered mirror is suitable for appropriate bathroom installations, while the ultra-clean wall-mounted format keeps valuable floor space clear. The heater is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.

Installation & Maintenance
This mirror infrared panel heater includes pre-installed brackets for easy wall mounting. As there are no moving parts, there is no maintenance required for our panel heaters. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth when switched off

This 580w panel comes with a 13 Amp 3 pin plug, however we do recommend to hardwire it to your mains via a thermostat and fused spur

Safety
All our infrared heaters feature overheat protection, limiting the surface temperature from 75°C to 95°C, and all heating panels comply with safety standards (CE, UKCA, TüV, GS)

The tempered mirror means if broken, tempered mirror crumbles into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards like annealed (non-tempered) mirrors. These chunks are less likely to cause injury, which is why tempered mirrors are considered a type of safety mirror

This 580W mirror heater has its thermostat built directly into the unit, so a separate external thermostat is not required for normal temperature control.

The supplied remote control allows you to adjust the heating temperature, set operating times and access the heater's supported control functions without needing to operate the unit manually.

A 7-day programmable timer allows the heating schedule to be set around your normal routine, making it particularly useful in bathrooms, bedrooms and other rooms that are used at predictable times.

No separate thermostat required. Temperature control and 7-day scheduling are built into the heater, with the supplied remote providing convenient control of your 580W mirror panel.

01 How do I calculate what wattage I need?

The heating requirement depends on factors including room dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our Wattage Calculator to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.

02 Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?

Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected for the intended location, and installation must comply with applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

03 How much does infrared heating cost to run?

Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room temperature.

04 Do I need an electrician to install my heater?

This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket. Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.

05 Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?

Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments, but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children, pets and the surrounding space.

06 Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?

Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However, damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation, moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
