The RADI8 320W Mirror Infrared Heater combines far infrared heating with a functional 600 × 600mm tempered mirror, providing two useful features within one slim wall-mounted panel.
Its compact square format makes this model particularly well suited to bathrooms, en-suites, bedrooms, dressing areas, hallways and hotel rooms where a mirror is already required but available wall space may be limited.
With a 320W heating output, the panel radiates warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on a fan to circulate heated air. The IP54-rated construction also makes it suitable for appropriate bathroom installations.
This standard model does not include a built-in thermostat. For thermostatic, scheduling and app-based control, it can be paired with the RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat, available separately. The heater is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.
Compact 600 × 600mm Mirror Heater
Measuring 600 × 600mm, this is a compact square option within the RADI8 rectangular mirror heater range.
Its proportions make it particularly useful where both heating and a functional mirror are required without using separate areas of wall space for each.
320W Far Infrared Heating
The heater provides 320W of far infrared heating, radiating warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces rather than depending primarily on convective airflow.
No fan is required to distribute the heat, providing silent, light-free operation for bathrooms, bedrooms and other quiet interior spaces.
Tempered Mirror Surface
The front of the heater is manufactured from tempered mirror, allowing the panel to function as a practical everyday mirror as well as a heating appliance.
Tempered mirror also provides an important safety characteristic: if broken, it is designed to crumble into smaller granular pieces rather than producing the larger jagged shards associated with conventional annealed mirror glass.
IP54 Rated for Bathroom Installation
The 320W mirror heater carries an IP54 rating, providing protection against splashing water and dust.
This makes it suitable for appropriate bathroom installations when positioned correctly and installed in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable bathroom electrical requirements.
Bathroom and hardwired installations should be completed by a qualified electrician.
Ultra-Slim 12mm Wall-Mounted Design
At just 12mm deep, the heater provides a particularly slim wall-mounted profile.
The complete panel measures 600 × 600 × 12mm and weighs approximately 9.55kg. Pre-installed brackets are provided for wall mounting, and the heater should be securely fixed to a suitable wall using appropriate fixings.
13A Plug or Hardwired Thermostat Installation
The 320W mirror heater is supplied with a UK 13A 3-pin plug.
For a permanent controlled installation, RADI8 recommends hardwiring the heater to the mains via a thermostat and fused spur.
When using the optional Netmostat, the panel must be appropriately wired to the external thermostat and mains electrical supply. We recommend this work is completed by a qualified electrician.
Optional Netmostat Smart Control
This is the standard non-thermostat version of the 320W mirror heater. For thermostatic and smart heating control, it can be paired with the
RADI8 Netmostat Smart Thermostat.
The Netmostat combines a wall-mounted thermostat with app-based control, allowing you to switch the heater on or off, select the required temperature and create heating schedules using its 7-day timer.
Where Can the 320W Mirror Heater Be Used?
The compact 600 × 600mm format makes this heater particularly suited to bathrooms, en-suites, bedrooms, dressing areas, hallways, hotel rooms and other residential or commercial interiors.
It is especially useful where available wall space is limited and combining a mirror and heating panel provides a cleaner installation than fitting two separate products.
Is 320W the Right Output for Your Room?
The correct infrared heating output should be determined by the characteristics of the room rather than using a fixed square-metre coverage figure.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, insulation, glazing, external walls and building construction can all influence the wattage required.

Quality & Safety
UKCA, CE, Rohs, Lot 20 (when used with our smart thermostat)
This mirror infrared panel heater includes pre-installed brackets for easy wall mounting. As there are no moving parts, there is no maintenance required for our panel heaters. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth when switched off
This 320w panel comes with a 13 Amp 3 pin plug, however we do recommend to hardwire it to your mains via a thermostat and fused spur
Safety
Safety is paramount, which is why our heaters come equipped with advanced safety features such as overheat protection limiting the surface temperature from 75°C to 95°C and compliance with industry standards (CE, UKCA, TüV, GS). You can rest assured knowing that your comfort is our top priority
The tempered mirror means if broken, tempered mirror crumbles into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards like annealed (non-tempered) mirrors. These chunks are less likely to cause injury, which is why tempered mirrors are considered a type of safety mirror

WHERE INFRARED WORKS
Heating designed for
real spaces.
From everyday living spaces to demanding commercial environments,
infrared heating provides a flexible heating solution across a wide
range of applications.
01
Domestic applications
Comfortable, discreet heating solutions designed around
the way you use your home.
Infrared heating works differently from conventional
convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming
and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat
directly to people and surfaces within the room.
These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release
warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and
consistent heating environment.
With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate
silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.
A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort,
individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.
Efficient Heating
Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than
relying solely on warming and circulating the air.
No Forced Air
With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous
forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.
Radiant Comfort
Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly,
creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.
Individual Room Control
Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can
be controlled according to how and when they are used.
Responsive Warmth
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once
the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on
forced-air circulation.
Low Maintenance
With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater,
ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
Silent Operation
No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making
infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.
Warms Surfaces
By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can
help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about
choosing, installing and using infrared heating.
01
How do I calculate what wattage I need?
The heating requirement depends on factors including room
dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our
Wattage Calculator
to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.
02
Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom
installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected
for the intended location, and installation must comply with
applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation
should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
03
How much does infrared heating cost to run?
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity
tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW
heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at
full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the
heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room
temperature.
04
Do I need an electrician to install my heater?
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable
plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket.
Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical
connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be
completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
05
Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments,
but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should
be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its
instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children,
pets and the surrounding space.
06
Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can
help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce
conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However,
damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation,
moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be
considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
