450W Mirror Infrared Heater with LED Light & Built-In Thermostat
The RADI8 450W Mirror Infrared Heater combines three functions within one contemporary wall-mounted unit: a mirror, a 450W far infrared heater and integrated 6000K LED lighting.
Measuring 800 × 600mm, its tempered mirror surface provides a practical everyday mirror while the integrated infrared heating system adds warmth without requiring a separate radiator. The built-in LED lighting further enhances its suitability for bathrooms, dressing areas and other interiors where both heating and mirror lighting are useful.
Unlike the standard 450W mirror panel, this model has a thermostat built directly into the heater and includes a remote control, allowing temperature and heating times to be managed without adding a separate external thermostat.
With an IP54 rating and wall-mounted design, it is particularly suited to appropriate bathroom installations as well as bedrooms, dressing areas, hallways and hotel interiors. The heater is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.
Three Functions in One Wall-Mounted Heater
This model combines mirror, infrared heating and integrated LED lighting within a single wall-mounted product.
Combining these functions is particularly useful where wall space is limited or where a cleaner installation is preferred to fitting a separate mirror, heater and mirror light.
450W Far Infrared Heating
The panel provides 450W of far infrared heating, radiating warmth towards people and surrounding surfaces rather than relying on fan-driven airflow.
Its silent operation makes the heater particularly suited to bathrooms, bedrooms, hotel rooms and other interiors where unobtrusive heating is preferred.
Integrated 6000K LED Mirror Light
Integrated into the mirror is a 6000K LED light, adding practical illumination around the mirror while maintaining the clean appearance of the overall unit.
This allows the panel to provide heating, a functional mirror and mirror lighting from one installation.
Built-In Thermostat & Remote Control
This version has a thermostat built directly into the heater and is supplied with a remote control.
The remote allows you to manage the heater's temperature and heating times, while the 7-day programmable timer provides additional control over when the heating operates.
Because the temperature control is integrated into this model, a separate external thermostat is not required for normal thermostatic operation.
800 × 600mm Tempered Mirror
The heater uses a tempered mirror surface and measures approximately 800 × 600 × 35mm.
Its rectangular proportions make it particularly suitable for installation above bathroom furniture, within dressing areas or on other suitable walls where a practical mirror is already required.
IP54 Rated for Bathroom Installation
The heater carries an IP54 rating, providing protection against dust and splashing water.
This makes it suitable for appropriate bathroom installations when positioned and installed in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable bathroom electrical requirements.
Wall-Mounted Design
This model is designed for wall mounting and includes pre-installed mounting brackets.
The heater weighs approximately 12.3kg, so it should be securely mounted to a suitable wall using appropriate fixings for the wall construction.
Is 450W the Right Output for Your Room?
The correct infrared heating output should be calculated according to the characteristics of the room rather than relying on a fixed square-metre coverage figure.
Room dimensions, ceiling height, insulation, glazing, external walls and building construction can all influence the wattage required.

to estimate the heating requirement for your space and determine whether this 450W mirror heater provides the appropriate output.
10-Year RADI8 Warranty
The RADI8 450W Mirror Infrared Heater with LED Light and Built-In Thermostat is backed by a 10-year RADI8 warranty.

This mirror infrared panel heater includes pre-installed brackets for easy wall mounting. As there are no moving parts, there is no maintenance required for our panel heaters. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth when switched off
This 450w panel comes with a 13 Amp 3 pin plug, however we do recommend to hardwire it to your mains via a thermostat and fused spur
Safety
Safety is paramount, which is why our heaters come equipped with advanced safety features such as overheat protection limiting the surface temperature from 75°C to 95°C and compliance with industry standards (CE, UKCA, TüV, GS). You can rest assured knowing that your comfort is our top priority.
The tempered mirror means if broken, tempered mirror crumbles into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards like annealed (non-tempered) mirrors. These chunks are less likely to cause injury, which is why tempered mirrors are considered a type of safety mirror

WHERE INFRARED WORKS
Heating designed for
real spaces.
From everyday living spaces to demanding commercial environments,
infrared heating provides a flexible heating solution across a wide
range of applications.
01
Domestic applications
Comfortable, discreet heating solutions designed around
the way you use your home.
Infrared heating works differently from conventional
convection heating. Rather than relying primarily on warming
and circulating the air, infrared transfers radiant heat
directly to people and surfaces within the room.
These surfaces absorb the radiant energy and gradually release
warmth back into the space, helping create a comfortable and
consistent heating environment.
With no fans or forced-air circulation, infrared heaters operate
silently while delivering comfortable radiant warmth into the space.
A modern approach to heating that combines radiant comfort,
individual room control and a discreet, space-saving design.
Efficient Heating
Radiant heat can be directed where it is needed rather than
relying solely on warming and circulating the air.
No Forced Air
With no fans required, infrared heating avoids the continuous
forced-air circulation associated with many conventional systems.
Radiant Comfort
Infrared warms people and surrounding surfaces directly,
creating a comfortable radiant warmth throughout the space.
Individual Room Control
Divide heating into zones so individual rooms or areas can
be controlled according to how and when they are used.
Responsive Warmth
Radiant warmth is delivered directly into the occupied space once
the heater reaches operating temperature, without relying on
forced-air circulation.
Low Maintenance
With no pumps, fans or complex moving components in the heater,
ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.
Silent Operation
No fans or motors means heating operates silently, making
infrared particularly suited to bedrooms, offices and quiet spaces.
Warms Surfaces
By warming walls and other surfaces directly, infrared can
help keep surface temperatures warmer within the heated space.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
Helpful answers to some of the most common questions about
choosing, installing and using infrared heating.
01
How do I calculate what wattage I need?
The heating requirement depends on factors including room
dimensions, insulation, construction and intended use. Use our
Wattage Calculator
to calculate the recommended heating requirement for your space.
02
Can infrared heaters be used in bathrooms?
Certain infrared heaters can be suitable for bathroom
installations. The correct product and IP rating must be selected
for the intended location, and installation must comply with
applicable electrical requirements. Where required, installation
should be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
03
How much does infrared heating cost to run?
Running cost depends on the heater wattage, your electricity
tariff and how long the heater operates. For example, a 1kW
heater uses 1kWh of electricity when operating continuously at
full power for one hour. Thermostatic controls can cycle the
heater on and off as required to maintain the selected room
temperature.
04
Do I need an electrician to install my heater?
This depends on the heater and installation method. Suitable
plug-in models can simply connect to an appropriate socket.
Hardwired installations, bathroom installations and electrical
connections that form part of the fixed wiring should be
completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
05
Are infrared heaters suitable for homes with children and pets?
Infrared heating is widely used in residential environments,
but heaters can become hot during operation. Every heater should
be installed, positioned and used in accordance with its
instructions, with appropriate consideration given to children,
pets and the surrounding space.
06
Can infrared heating help with condensation and damp?
Infrared heating warms people and surfaces directly, which can
help maintain warmer surface temperatures and may help reduce
conditions that contribute to surface condensation. However,
damp and mould can have several causes, including ventilation,
moisture and building defects, so heating alone should not be
considered a solution to every damp or mould problem.
