High-Output 2400W Infrared Heating

The 2400W model provides greater radiant output than the 1200W and 1800W heaters in the RADI8 bar heater range, making it a strong choice for larger rooms and more demanding commercial heating applications.

Its higher output can also help reduce the number of individual heaters required across larger installations, depending on the calculated heating requirement of the space.

Far Infrared Radiant Heating

Rather than primarily heating and circulating the surrounding air, far infrared heating transfers radiant energy towards people and solid surfaces within the heating zone.

This provides a practical heating solution for workshops, garages, commercial premises and other larger spaces where focused radiant warmth is required.

The RADI8 2400W bar heater produces radiant warmth without fans or motors continuously circulating air around the space and without the visible red glow associated with some short-wave infrared heaters.

With no fan or motor required to distribute the heat, operation is quiet and ongoing maintenance requirements are minimal.

Wall or Ceiling Mounted

The heater can be installed on a suitable wall or ceiling, allowing its radiant output to be directed towards the required heating zone while keeping valuable floor space clear.

External Smart Control Available

This standard model does not include a built-in thermostat, Wi-Fi controller or remote control. This provides flexibility for installations where the heater will be controlled using a separate wall thermostat or as part of a wider heating control system.

Pair it with our Netmostat Smart Thermostat to add room temperature control, programmable heating schedules and Wi-Fi app control.

If you would prefer these controls to be integrated directly into the heater, the RADI8 2400W bar heater is also available with a built-in thermostat, Wi-Fi connectivity and remote control.

Installation & Electrical Connection

For a permanent infrared heating installation, we recommend having the heater professionally hardwired by a qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable electrical regulations.

When connecting this standard model to an external thermostat such as the RADI8 Netmostat, the heater will need to be appropriately wired into the thermostat and electrical supply. This work should be completed by a qualified electrician.

The heater should be installed at a minimum mounting height of 1.8 metres, with the final mounting position and clearances determined by the installation environment and the requirements in the supplied manual.

For outdoor use, the heater must only be installed in a fully covered and enclosed area, protected from direct rain and weather exposure.
