Maximum Output Infrared Heating for Industrial and Commercial Spaces

The RADI8 3000W infrared bar heater is our highest powered bar unit, engineered for large commercial spaces, expansive work zones or fully enclosed outdoor hospitality areas that require consistent, powerful radiant heat. It is the ultimate choice when performance and coverage are critical.

Using advanced far infrared radiation, this unit provides deep penetrating warmth to people and surfaces while remaining unaffected by drafts or airflow. It offers rapid heating, minimal heat loss and exceptional energy efficiency, especially in high ceiling or semi-open environments.

The robust aluminium construction and corrosion resistant finish make it suitable for both internal use and protected outdoor installations. It can be mounted on walls or ceilings and adjusted to focus heat precisely where it is needed. Outdoor areas must be enclosed and covered, such as sheltered patios or commercial entranceways.

With a capacity to heat areas up to 22m², it is ideal for industrial applications, commercial spaces, and high footfall outdoor venues. This heater requires professional hardwiring for installation.

Installation & Maintenance

They come with brackets for easy wall and ceiling mounting. The brackets are also adjustable, meaning you can tilt the heater to the desired angle. As there are no moving parts, there is no maintenance required. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth when switched off

This 3000w bar heater does not come with a plug and must be hardwired to your mains via a 16A fused spur

Safety is paramount, which is why our heaters come equipped with advanced safety features such as overheat protection and compliance with industry standards (CE, UKCA, TüV, GS). You can rest assured knowing that your comfort is our top priority The bar heaters can reach a surface temperature of approximately 200-300˚C, significantly hotter than traditional radiators, therefore they must be installed safely out of reach above 1.8 metres, eliminating any risk of accidental burns.

Control Your Infrared Heaters with our Smart Thermostat

Our infrared heating panels are compatible with our smart thermostats, providing you with control over a app as well as a wall mounted thermostat. You can easily turn the panel on or off, set the desired temperature, and schedule heating times with the 7-day timer feature.  To connect the thermostat, you must hardwire the panel to thermostat and the mains. We recommend using a electrician to comply with regulations and safety standards

Suitable applications

Infrared heating is suitable for both domestic and commercial spaces, particularly in environments where traditional heating systems are inefficient or costly to run. By heating people and surfaces directly rather than warming the surrounding air, infrared provides a more targeted and energy efficient way to heat a space.

This approach makes infrared heating especially effective in rooms with high ceilings, open layouts or intermittent use, while remaining adaptable to different room sizes and usage requirements. With discreet designs and advanced control options, infrared heating integrates easily into both modern interiors and demanding commercial environments.

Diagram explaining how infrared heaters work

How Do Infrared Heaters Work?

Infrared heaters work differently from traditional convection heaters. Instead of warming the air, they emit invisible waves of heat that are absorbed directly by objects, walls, and people, just like natural sunlight, but without the harmful UV rays.

This means the warmth is felt faster and lasts longer, even when doors or windows are open. Because they don't rely on circulating hot air, there's no dust movement, no drafts, and no wasted energy heating unused space above head height.

Far infrared is especially gentle and effective. It penetrates just under the skin to provide a deep, lasting warmth that feels natural, comfortable, and efficient. It's completely silent, safe, and perfect for both homes and commercial settings.

In short, infrared heating offers a smarter, healthier, and more economical way to stay warm - all while reducing your carbon footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate what wattage I need?

Use our wattage calculator to determine the correct heater size based on your room dimensions, insulation level, and usage.

Can I use these heaters in a bathroom?

Yes. Infrared panels can be installed in bathrooms when fitted in the correct zone and hardwired by a qualified electrician.

What are the running costs?

Infrared heating is highly efficient. Typical running costs are only a few pence per hour, depending on wattage, tariff, and usage.

Do I need an electrician to install?

Plug-in models can be self-installed. Hardwired installations, bathroom use, or thermostat connections should always be completed by a qualified electrician.

Are infrared heaters safe for children and pets?
